GRAPHIC DESIGNER/MARKETING ASSISTANT: PRACTICE OPERATIONS DIRECTOR will direct, administer and control the day-to-day operations and activities of the group Medical locations.Design programs to improve the quality of health care. Resolve medical-administrative problems and keeps lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional atmosphere Identify, develop, implement and evaluation of program policies and procedures as directed by state, federal and administrative codes, as well as professional practice standards. Work with management on current trends, problems and medical activities to facilitate policymaking.Coordinate and ensure compliance with OSHA filings and reporting.Ensure clinic compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies. Develop and periodically review and update procedures to ensure continuing currency and relevance in providing guidance to management and employees.Collaborate with other departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate channels for investigation and resolution. Respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures. Maintain professional affiliations and enhances professional development to keep current in the latest health care trends and developments. Report to the COO/CEO.Participate in executive strategic planning at the corporate level.Working knowledge and awareness of state and federal requirements and codes governing treatment. Ability to supervise interdisciplinary team. Bachelors degree required; masters preferred such as MBA, MPH or MHA.MGMA Membership and Certification preferred. Minimum of ten years experience in a health care organization. Knowledge or experience with managed care a plus. Minimum of five years experience with progressive advancement in leadership positions in physician practice operations. Multi-specialty experience a plus.Experience in data management and clinical applications such as EMR. Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required.
