Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA – The Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CBCCT), a not for profit organization established in 2007 to offer a practice-based examination for practioners to document their skills and knowledge in the field of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography is please to announce that William G. Stanton, MD, of Boca Raton, FL passed the certification examination in September 2008.  Dr. Stanton is now entitled to designate himself as “Diplomate of the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography”.

The first certification board exam was offered in September 2008 and 708 physicians were certified in cardiovascular computed tomography.  As of 1/1/09, Dr. Stanton is the only Radiologist in Palm Beach County with this certification.
